WS Audiology's IC Development department in Lynge has 30+ specialists designing analog and digital hearing aid chips. Formed from the Widex and Sivantos merger (2019), the team continues the Widex tradition of in-house chip development. The latest Widex Allure (2025) features the W1 chip. RF engineers handle Bluetooth and NFMI integration. The IC team works alongside colleagues in Erlangen, Germany. Over 1,000 employees are based at the Lynge HQ.
