Israeli-Danish startup developing MEMS ultrasound speakers and custom ASIC driver (M-Amp). Denmark site at DTU Science Park handles ASIC development.

Semiconductor activity in Denmark

SonicEdge (founded 2019, Israeli-Danish) develops two semiconductor chips: a MEMS die that generates sound from modulated ultrasound (SC200M) and a custom ASIC amplifier (M-Amp) that receives digital audio and drives the MEMS transducer. The Danish office at DTU Science Park handles ASIC development, led by Tore Joergensen (DTU MSc). Products target TWS earbuds, hearing aids, and AR/VR. Announced a semiconductor integration partnership at CES 2026.
