Quantum Foundry Copenhagen (The Quantum Foundry P/S, established 2022) is a quantum fabrication unit owned by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. Working at ultra-pure atomic-scale precision, it develops new wafer-based manufacturing processes and integrated circuits — including superconducting, semiconducting and photonic components — as the chip-level building blocks for scalable, fault-tolerant quantum computers. It is part of the foundation's 12-year, DKK 1.5bn Novo Nordisk Foundation Quantum Computing Programme (NQCP), in close collaboration with the Niels Bohr Institute, and is based in Copenhagen Science City.
