Danish office (ex-IPtronics/Mellanox) in Roskilde designs ICs for optical interconnect and high-speed transceivers. Participated in EU PlaCMOS project.
NVIDIA's Danish office in Roskilde originates from IPtronics (founded 2003 by ex-Giga A/S engineers), acquired by Mellanox in 2013 for $47.5M, then NVIDIA in 2020. The team designs ICs for optical interconnect and high-speed transceivers. They participated in the EU PlaCMOS project on plasmonic-photonic Tbit/s transceiver technology. Additionally, NVIDIA partners with the Novo Nordisk Foundation on the Gefion AI supercomputer in Denmark.
