MemXcell (MemXcell ApS) is an independent consultancy founded in 2022 by Mads Hommelgaard, former Director of NVM Design and Validation at NXP Semiconductors. It helps SoC development teams integrate embedded non-volatile memory IP — spanning charge-based flash, MTP/OTP and emerging memories such as RRAM and MRAM — across mobile, IoT, security and automotive applications. As a vendor-neutral firm (not affiliated with any NVM vendor or foundry, and not an IP designer itself), MemXcell works with IP vendors to certify design kits and reviews IP design collateral and silicon data to de-risk SoC projects.
