Infineon's former Danish audio design centre — the ex-Merus Audio team (acquired 2018) that developed Infineon's MERUS™ multilevel Class-D audio amplifier ICs and audio power modules. The Copenhagen site was shut down around 2023.
Infineon Technologies Denmark's Copenhagen site was the company's audio design centre, built on the team and technology of Merus Audio — the DTU spinout Infineon acquired in 2018. The site designed and developed Infineon's MERUS™ multilevel Class-D audio amplifier ICs and audio power modules, delivering highly efficient, low-heat amplification for consumer, portable and professional sound systems, as part of Infineon's Power Management & Multimarket division. The Copenhagen site was shut down around 2023.
